Warning Label

Warning Label

The more you sell to me, the less I buy in to you
Your vulnerabilities are louder, clearer signals than your best foot, put forward
Your concern for my desired reaction mutes the soft tune whistled by your dream
Do you know me well enough to stick your message to my shape?
No; it drips inconsolably from your own polished facade
But if you show a porous surface, the glue of my attention may bind
Your pearl is not the art; nor is mine
The space between that connects and separates is our only result
